Health Spotlight

  • National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is observed on March 10 to highlight the unique challenges that women and girls face in HIV prevention, treatment, and care. The day promotes education, testing, and advocacy efforts to reduce stigma and improve health outcomes.

  • National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, March 20th, is dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on Native American and Indigenous communities.  The day promotes culturally sensitive education and outreach initiatives to reduce stigma and improve health outcomes.

  • Women’s Month is an annual observance dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions of women in all aspects of society. The month is marked by events, educational campaigns, and community initiatives that empower women and inspire social change.
